Linda is remembered as a true social butterfly—always ready for a conversation, and often known to talk a little too much, but that was one of the best things about her. State Police reported that, on Aug. 2, at approximately 10:37 a.m., a staff member at Anderson, located in Staatsburgh, reported a resident exhibiting visible bruising. An investigation conducted by uniformed troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation determined that a staff member, identified as Deijeanae S. Edwards, 22, of Poughkeepsie, had held a pillow against a resident’s face while restraining the individual’s arm. Born on June 15, 1937, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of Harold and Elanor (Argersinger) Greene. Patricia lived in Rhinebeck for several years before moving to Kingston in the mid-1970s. She later spent time in Colorado with her daughter before returning to the Hudson Valley and settling in Staatsburg with her son.
