Christ laid down the example for each of us to follow. To follow in the steps of the Saviour, we must see what steps He took, and while this step is easy to say, it is the most needed for each of us. Would we set out to take the most needed next step to accomplish God's will for our lives?

In the pleasure seeking world we are living in, may we seek to put others before ourselves. Paul desired for the Philippians to avoid disunity, and to accomplish it through the unity and humility of each believer.

Difficulties have a way of revealing our faith or the lack there of, but we must choose to joyfully remain faithful till the end. It is a privilege to be counted worthy to identify with Christ sufferings. Resolve now to stay committed til the end.

It is not unusual to struggle when there is disunity on a team. Paul encourages us to continue to remain in step with our fellow believers unified for the gospel's sake.

Just as Paul, we all have a critical choice to make. Will we live with selfless faith or selfish faith? It is needful for each of us to grow in our faith and joy, but will we pass it on?

Paul gave a valuable lesson each of us can learn from. What is our goal? Whether it be in life or death, Christ should be made much of in our lives.

Things may not always work to our ideal circumstances, but like Paul, we can be grateful for an advancing Gospel. May every opportunity be a gospel opportunity.

We are called to bear fruit, and it is important for us to live intentionally knowing they come from Christ. Also, they are for Christ. Will we live for Christ and Christ alone today?

Paul's prayer for the Philippians powerfully reminds us to consider ourselves. Are we growing? May each of us all live doing what is best each day.
