President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured local and foreign potential investors that his administration is serious about fighting crime and corruption for investment to flourish. He was speaking at the official opening of the Fourth SA Investment Conference at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg yesterday (Thursday). The one-day conference is called to help government attract one-point-two-trillion-rand worth of investment by the end of 2023. Ramaphosa says with at least 770-billion-rand already pledged since the inaugural conference in 2018, government is two thirds away from reaching its target. Ntebo Mokobo has more.
