Last night the Durban University of Technology announced that it has temporarily suspended all activities on their campuses due to the eruption of violence, intimidation and arson at the Steve Biko campus. Police later confirmed that a group of students set alight four vehicles on the campus. Some of the main reasons for the violence are that some students complained that they struggling to register for the 2022 academic year.
