December 08, 2014FF Plus submissions to UN HRC Forum on Minority Issues’Focus: About two weeks ago, the Freedom Front Plus approached the UN and urged them to look into what they term “the deliberate actions taken by the South African government to dilute and eventually eradicate Afrikaans-language mother-tongue education for Afrikaans speakers in South Africa since 1994”. It didn’t end there - they also implored the UN General Secretary to initiate a full investigation, in order to pressurize the SA government to afford equal educational opportunities for all its peoples in their mother tongue.
