Wednesday, July 29th: After forty-six episodes through Ezekiel, it's time to step back and see the whole picture. In this special reflection, we revisit the book's greatest themes: God's sovereign rule, His holiness, His relentless pursuit of His people, the many ways Ezekiel points to Jesus, and the promise of God's abiding presence. More than a book of strange visions or future prophecy, Ezekiel tells one magnificent story of redemption that culminates in the words, "The LORD Is There." If the entire series could be summarized in one sentence, it would be this: God's greatest gift is not merely His blessings. God's greatest gift is Himself.

Tuesday, July28th: The final chapter of Ezekiel ends with one of the greatest promises in all of Scripture: "The LORD Is There" (Yahweh Shammah). More than a name for a future city, it summarizes the entire story of the Bible. From Eden to the Tabernacle, from the Temple to Christ, from Pentecost to the New Jerusalem, God's desire has always been to dwell with His people. Through Jesus Christ, God's presence is no longer distant but with us now, and one day we will experience that presence fully forever. Ezekiel's closing words are not merely the end of a book. They are the hope of every believer.

Monday, July 27th: In The Inheritance of Grace, Ezekiel 48:1-29 describes the distribution of the land among Israel's tribes. While it appears to be a simple list of boundaries, it reveals God's unwavering faithfulness to His covenant promises. Every tribe receives an inheritance, reminding us that God's grace restores what sin has broken. The central portion set apart for the Lord points to Christ, who belongs at the center of every believer's life. Ultimately, our greatest inheritance is not earthly land but the eternal inheritance secured for us through Jesus Christ.

Friday, July 24th: Ezekiel 47 presents one of the Bible's most beautiful visions: a river flowing from God's temple that grows deeper as it travels, bringing life wherever it goes. The river transforms the Dead Sea, causes trees to flourish, and brings healing to the nations. This remarkable picture points directly to Jesus, who promised living water through the Holy Spirit, and ultimately to Revelation 22, where the River of Life flows from God's throne forever. God's presence always brings life, restoration, and hope to a dying world.

Thursday, 23 July: In True Worship, we explore Ezekiel 44-46 and discover what life looks like when God's glory dwells among His people. The closed eastern gate, the faithful priests, the righteous prince, and the rhythms of worship all point beyond Israel's temple to Jesus Christ. Worship is not confined to a building or a service. Through Christ, every believer is invited into a life of joyful obedience, integrity, and daily surrender. True worship is not simply something we do on Sundays. It is the way we live every day in the presence of our King.

Wednesday, July 22: The long-awaited moment has arrived. In Ezekiel 43, the glory of the Lord returns to the temple, reversing the heartbreaking departure described in Ezekiel 10 and 11. This chapter marks the climax of Ezekiel's message of hope. God's return points beyond the restored temple to Jesus Christ, in whom the glory of God dwells bodily. Through Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit, God's presence now lives within His people, anticipating the day when He will dwell with them forever in the New Creation. God's greatest promise has always been His presence.

Tuesday, July 21: In Part 41 of The Gospel According to Ezekiel, Ezekiel 42 shifts our attention from architecture to holiness. The priestly chambers surrounding the temple remind us that God is holy and that His people are called to reflect His character. These rooms point beyond the Levitical priesthood to Jesus Christ, our perfect Great High Priest, whose once-for-all sacrifice grants believers access to God. Through Christ, every believer becomes part of a royal priesthood, set apart to display His love, truth, and mercy in the world. Holiness is not about earning God's favor but becoming more like Jesus as we prepare for the day we will dwell with Him forever.

Monday, July 20: In Episode 805 of The Daily Grind, we continue The Gospel According to Ezekiel with Part 40, "Entering the King's House," from Ezekiel 41. As Ezekiel moves into the inner sanctuary of the visionary temple, every measurement reminds us that God is intentional, orderly, and faithful to His promises. The Most Holy Place points beyond the physical temple to Jesus Christ, who identified Himself as the true Temple where God meets humanity. Through Christ's death, resurrection, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, believers themselves become God's dwelling place. Ezekiel 41 reminds us that God's ultimate purpose has always been to live among His people, and every detail of His plan points toward that glorious reality.

Friday, July 10th: In Episode 804 of The Daily Grind, we begin the final vision of Ezekiel with Part 39, "The Mountain of Hope," from Ezekiel 40. Carried by the Spirit to a very high mountain, Ezekiel sees a magnificent new temple being carefully measured by a radiant heavenly messenger. While the chapter is filled with architectural details, its central message is one of hope: God has not abandoned His people. Every measurement reflects God's intentional plan to restore His presence among them. Christians ultimately see this vision fulfilled in Jesus Christ, through whom God dwells with His people, and in the promise of the New Jerusalem where God's presence will remain forever. Ezekiel 40 reminds us that even when we see only ruins, God already has the blueprint for restoration.
