Brandon Nimmo continues to be all that is right with the Mets, the world, and certainly his profession; smiling through a slump, the Happiest Man in Baseball wins it with a pinch hit homer vs the Phillies. Vey deep on the depth chart sat 28 yr old Drew Gagnon, summoned to make his first ever big league start. It didn't go well, and the Mets lost for the second straight game to the Phillies. Amed Rosario had a big night though; Josh talks about the positives amid some not-so-great injury updates; Mickey Callaway weighs in, and everyone eagerly awaits the next two starts from deGrom and Matz.

A doubleheader vs the Phillies produced more Wilmer walkoff pixie dust in game 1, but then a pitcher hitting .053 winning the game for the visitors in game 2 with a bases loaded double.
