I Just wanted to say....

that I think you are totally amazing. You may not hear it often enough or from the ones you want to hear it from most but I'm telling you right now you are beautiful!

Life can be so difficult sometimes and we can really get lost in our own pity...trust me (I understand...it still happens to me). Sometimes the icky energy that surrounds us can really engulf us no matter how spiritually strong we are. I'm sure even Mother Theresa had her moments.

What can happen when you allow the door to open just a little?

It's ironic that this is today's post because, in the Self Hypnosis Module of the AWAKEN year-long course, this is one of the metpahor's we are using for our latest induction technique. 

Funny how things align isn't it especially when you begin to peek through the slightest bit of the door opening.

What is spirituality exactly? And why do we say it's an awakening when it happens? Google dictionary defines spirituality as such:

spir·it·u·al·i·ty  ˌspiriCHo͞oˈalədē/ noun

noun: spirituality; plural noun: spiritualities 

"the shift in priorities allows us to embrace our spirituality in a more profound way"

It's a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, a higher power while in search of something more in life.  Something more than just the human experience and searching for greater meaning.  Your soul's purpose and the essence of your being.

Having a spiritual awakening is the beginning of your journey toward the path of enlightenment.  The realization there is something more out there and the belief that we are all connected.  It may be a BIG ah-ha moment or it could be little signs along the way that eventually get you to where you need to be along that path.  You may have always known there was another realm out there and the belief there is another power greater than us but not fully understood it.  You are aware there is more and want to better understand and experience this change.

There are different levels of awakening and they are all wonderful!  Once you begin this new journey your life will be forever changed. Because you begin to come from a place of love, light, and goodness.  It's food for your soul.  It's about becoming the best person you can be.

By opening your heart to allow the love to come in and shine through to others will give you a deeper connection to the divine.  When you live in this place of a heightened energy vibration you live lighter and live happier.  It's not just a switch that you can flip on and BAM you're enlightened......it's a process.  

A learning curve that comes easy for some and takes longer for others. Just like anything else you do in life, you have to do the work to get there and to better comprehend what is really going on.

We have worked on clearing the way to make room for new!​

Energy can become stagnant...not moving. It then begins to become stinky like water that has sat still after time becomes stale and begins to carry an odor.

The energy that we carry within will after time begin to do the same. This can weigh us down and hold us back from moving forward on our journey. On days when we are not feeling up to par.....it's probably time to release some of that stale energy!​

It's the last day of our little mini-course and today is about clearing away the clutter and the chaos allows for us to make more room for a new way of thinking, a new way of feeling, and a new way of living.

Such a great point!  How can we learn more if we are full?  "Stuff" is energy and it takes up space physically and mentally.  Clearing away allows for us to make room to grow.  You are opening your space for clarity, better focus, and while making room for new energy, love, and abundance!

Until we are grateful for the gifts in our lives we really can not live a life of abundance. Abundance is not about worldly possessions either. The type of abundance we are working towards in this challenge is for our mind, our body, and our spirit. Pure love. Not only should we be grateful for all the wonderful things we do have, we should also be grateful for the challenges as well as what hasn't even arrived yet.

These challenges are actually lessons for us to learn from. They help us become stronger and more compassionate towards others. They help us understand more about ourselves which allows us to understand what others may experience. How close of a bond do you immediately feel with a complete stranger, when you find they have experienced the same situation as you?

You're like immediately BFF's, (best friends forever) right? You are understanding of their situation and can feel empathy towards them. That's your heightened energy vibration! It allows you to be more understanding of another soul.

Gratitude attracts positive energy and will strengthen your energy field. You were brought to this challenge for a reason. This exercise is here for you, for a reason. Your divine higher power sees that you are ready for that next step in your journey and has brought you here. It's no coincidence. It was meant to be.

Beginning to understand that you have countless blessings in your life is a powerful way of raising that vibration. We take so many 'things' in our life for granted. It's important every day to stop and appreciate all the universe has given us! Eventually, you will become so conditioned to truly feel and express your gratitude.

You will automatically give thanks throughout the day. I can not even begin to count how many times in one day I say out loud to myself or others “I am so blessed.” But you can't just say it. You have to mean It!

Yes it's DAY 4 of the Spring Awakening Opportunity:

Spring cleaning allows us to clear away the cobwebs and make room for something magical to transpire. 

We all hold on to baggage we no longer need.

Did you know this actually wears you down?  It can make you feel sluggish, can stir inside of your soul, and can eventually be toxic and harmful to your health.

Can I tell you something?  YOU NO LONGER NEED IT!

The 'stuff' you worry about that you can not change, get rid of it. My husband always says to 'control the controllables'.  There are some things in life that you can change and then there are those other situations that you have no control over.  'let it go' to your angels!

Ask them to handle the situation in the best way possible with the best outcome possible.

If you are not happy about a situation in your life then take charge.  

Don't complain about it, change it!  

How? Change your mindset, the way you think, the way you speak, the way you act.  It really can be that simple.

Be mindful of your actions and thoughts, your life will change.

Spring Cleaning for your Spring Awakening Opportunity

Day 3:

The first two steps were about cleansing the space where we live and work.  What does this have to do with connecting with self and spirit?  When connecting we have to quiet the mind and with the chaos surrounding you, this makes it more difficult.  It is freeing to clean out and tidy up all around you so when it comes time to just sit or meditate you can do so freely with an open heart and an open mind.

Today's opportunity is to find time even if it's just a few moments to sit with yourself.  No phones, no kids, no spouses, no tv, no music.

Just you and silence.  Breathe.

Three times, in through your nose and out through your mouth.  Focus on your breathing and let your worries of the day go away.  How does it feel? How does it sound? What are the sensations that run through your body?

You are cleansing your mind and getting ready to better connect with your inner self, your higher self, and spirit.
