Heavenly Father wants to give us good gifts. We need to turn to Him in prayer to know Him and His Only Begotten Son more perfectly. As we emulate our Savior, we can grow closer to Them both.

As we follow the example of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, we will also be able to judge righteously.

It is comforting to know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ recognize our efforts. While we may not always do or say the right thing to express ourselves, They know our intentions and our deepest desires.

When we wait or neglect to write down inspired thoughts, feelings, and impressions, the detail and power of our memories fade. As we keep a record, we can remind ourselves of our former knowledge in times of need.

The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us to consider the larger picture and to give up things that we might want now in exchange for other, better rewards.

The Lord instructs us through his prophets to beware of pride. President Benson taught that pride is enmity, and it comes in many forms.

Heavenly Father has a plan for each of our lives. No matter what choices we make or what difficulties we face the Atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to heal and move on. We can change, we can learn, and we can grow.

Improving our listening and conversation skills in the world is good, but even more important is becoming better at hearing and pondering the word of God through the scriptures and his prophets.

As we rejoice with reverence, our joy can increase, and we can show our gratitude to the Lord through many forms.

Remembering the Plan of Salvation is a perfect way to remember the love of our Heavenly Father. He wants us to succeed. He wants us to return to him and to be like him. He wants us to know how special and how loved we are.
