The priesthood has been exercised by prophets and apostles of God since the beginning of the world, and it’s the power by which the world was created.

God still speaks to men. The heavens are not silent, and revelation has not ended.

Because Joseph sought “learning even by study, and also by faith” and prepared himself, he was able to receive personal revelation. As we do the same, as we seek with earnest hearts and pure intent, we can receive witnesses of truth.

Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate all women. This Mother’s Day, let’s honor our own divine natures, and those of the women around us, regardless of who has the opportunity to raise children here on earth.

Women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiate in holy priesthood ordinances in temples, are set apart for callings with priesthood authority, and are endowed with power in the temple.

“Eve” means life. And Adam's wife was named Life because she was destined to be the mother of all living. Let’s look to Eve for an example of womanhood and motherhood.

The world may tell us that parenthood is too hard, or takes up too much of our time. But the scriptures teach us that "children are an heritage of the Lord." How can we find joy in motherhood?

“Charity never faileth," and neither does the worldwide sisterhood called the Relief Society. As we come together as women, we are equipped to do “something extraordinary.”

Negative thinking is a pervasive problem in the world today. But as we examine our lives for joy and blessings, we can escape the trap of thinking we aren’t good enough.

Jesus is the good shepherd. He loves His sheep. And He wants us to help Him reclaim those that are lost by using love and compassion.
