Teach Discipling Disciples (Titus 2:1-10). You are called to teach living out the trustworthy gospel to elders, to young people, and even people in stuck situations. Lived out faith is motivating and magnetic. So be an example of what Christ’s salvation does to a person.

Silencing Rebellious Church-goers (Titus 1:10-16). Who opposes the Gospel? Sinners in and out of the church. Folks who rely on their own religiosity. The sound doctrine of Christ redeems people born into corruption and sin. The only way to silence sinners is with the Word of Promise.

Eternal Hope Leaders (Titus 1:1-9). Leaders are called by God to further God’s elect people in their faith, their connecting to Christ and their promised eternal life. Leaders urge others by their own faith. Do you lead by the Hope of eternal life or by the values and fears of this world?

Life’s Highest Point (Micah 4:1-5, 5:2-4). At the advent of Christ the LORD will make worship life’s highest point. This worship will end strife and violence to usher in an eternity of peace and security. What is the high point of your life now?

Satisfied With God’s Bounty (Jeremiah 31:10-14). God’s Word gathers those scattered. We rejoice that God redeems us from what is stronger than our strength. Where we sorrowed, now we rejoice. We are filled with the bounty of the LORD. What is stronger than you?

God’s Servanthood Dynasty (2 Samuel 7:18–29). David is amazed by the blessing of God in the present and in the future. God knows David is a sinner servant. The covenant is not about David, but about God’s eternal promise for his people.

God Shark Jumping (2 Samuel 7:1–17). The LORD promises David an eternal dynasty without conditions. But then we know David and certainly the descendants are bent to relentless sin. The eternal dynasty is not for David but for God’s purposes.
