Agent Tyler Brown, with the Missouri Department of Conservation, stopped by to talk about the many places, around the lake, the people can go to recreate.

Hour two was for the listeners.  I invited folks to call the Key Radio Community Hotline to share their thoughts.

Martha White, a refugee from Cuba, spoke about her experience of leaving that country as a 10-year-old and coming to America.  She described the similarities she has seen, regarding communism, in America to how things used to be in Cuba.  She will be a guest speaker at an upcoming event for Concerned Women for America of Missouri on August 20th.

Rick Bryant stopped by to talk about current events.  We discussed the legalization of recreational marijuana and many other topics.

Fred Costa, who works at Ozarks International Raceway as a Flag Marshal, talked about what he does and discussed the future of the racetrack.  

Dave Maupin, the author of the blog "Among the Dogwoods", gave us an update on the most recent Camden County Commission meeting.  He also talked about the art of the search warrant.

Mindi Sales featured Bradley Berg on the Daily Show.  Bradley is involved in a lot of community organizations that help people around the Lake of the Ozarks.  He works with The Beam Lighthouse, L.A.N.I. and Encompassed Purpose just to name a few.  He has used his experiences in life to guide people in the right direction, no matter what it is they may be dealing with.

Danny Ellison checked in to rant and rave on the current President and his administration.  Did you know that they are arming the newest crop of I.R.S. agents?

Ike Skelton and I talked about a variety of topics including stimulus money for the state of Missouri and the legalization of marijuana.

Professor Jim Pasley discussed the history of China and Taiwan and how it effects the modern-day situation between the U.S. and China.

I was joined by the one and only Professor Jim Pasley.  We talked about the recent F.B.I. raid on Donald Trump's home in Florida.  We also discussed the ramifications of such a raid and how it will shape the narrative for both Republicans and Democrats as this country moves forward.

Dan Wos, 2nd Amendment advocate, joined me to talk about the latest news regarding gun rights and other related topics.

During hour two Bill LaCasse, with SRG Financial Advisors, discussed how the relationship between the U.S. and China will affect the financial future of the United States and how the federal government will view people's retirement and investment accounts. 

We had a great conversation with Bev Ehlen from Concerned Women for America of Missouri.  We did an election recap of the August 2nd primary, and we also discussed some upcoming event for the month of August.

Closer to home, Dave Maupin, the author of Among the Dogwoods, recappe dthe local elections and he shared a very interesting story about his days with the LAPD.

It was a very inspiring first hour as Mindi Sales introduce us to Troy and Jennifer Risener.  They are great people, who along with Rhonda Wilkening started a buddy pack program for students at the Camdenton School District.  They provided food for students in need.  They also work closely with the Pride of the Lake Marching Band.  They are two people who don't want any recognition but want to help where the see a need in the community.

Danny Ellison checked in from the road with his weekly ranting and raving.  He discussed the governments need to make people dependent on government programs and what that really means.

Laura Martin stopped by to tell us about the great things that the Lighthouse Convenience Clinic is doing for the community.  They don't take insurance, but they offer low-cost medical care to people who need it.  Laura, her husband Steve and their staff make sure that anyone can receive medical assistance when they need it.

I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with the next Presiding Commissioner of Camden County, Ike Skelton.  He was, FINALLY, able to breathe a sigh of relief.  He discussed the election process and what he has ahead of him.

Professor Jim Pasley took the time to break down the Inflation Reduction Act and what it means to the future of this country.
