Professor Jim Pasley stopped in to discuss the Disinformation Governance Board and some pretty scary history surrounding it.

Debbie Graf, with Christ the King Lutheran Church, talked about "Boaz" the comfort dog and what he means to people in need of a furry friend.

Karen Clopton, who is running for Circuit Clerk of Camden County, talked about why you should vote for her and what she can bring to the office if elected.

Bob Lynch made his final broadcast on Key Radio.  He is retiring at the end of May and He will be missed.  I have had the chance to work with Bob for 20 years and he is just incredible.  

Today, we discussed worker safety, the new five year S.T.I.P. program and cost sharing.

Dave Maupin updated us on the May 17th Camden County Commission meeting.  It seems that the county like handing out seed money whether they think it's a good idea or not.  We also got another inside look at two organizations that should be working together, but didn't.

We found out what's going on around the lake from Community Events Director Mindi Sales.

Danny Ellison was on his usual tear with more ranting and raving about the government.  The only difference with Danny's approach is that it makes sense.

I talked the baby formula shortage and how it might trigger future events. How will the government respond to this and future events?  Bill Mundhausen did an op/ed on affordable housing.

Fawzy Simon joined me to talk about "Red Flag Laws".  There are a lot of interesting twists and turns with red flag laws. 

I received a phone call from Jeff Hooker.  Jeff is the city admin. for Camdenton.  We talked about how the city is progressing economically and about some new business that is coming or already established in the city.  We also made mention that the city pool will be opening soon.

Scott Fransen is the Chief of the Mid-County Fire Protection District.  We found out that calls are up, and manpower is down.  We also found out how to properly obtain a burn permit.  Scott also mentioned the creative ways they are trying to find volunteers, both older and younger.

Doug Beck came by to share some information on "Wearing you Lifejacket to Work Day" and about their annual boating safety seminar.  I also learned some grim statistics about the lake and loss of life due to people not wearing their lifejackets.

Bev Ehlen from Concerned Women of America of Missouri talked about the end of the legislative session in Jefferson City.  She also talked about the steps that are necessary to prepare for the upcoming elections.

Bob Lynch, with MoDot, talked about how the contractor is putting the finishing touches on the bridge over Bagnell Dam.  We discussed the safety features MoDot has implemented such as J turns and acceleration lanes and how they are saving lives.

Dave Maupin, the author of Among the Dogwoods, talked about the most recent Camden County Commission meeting on May 10th.  Dave also provided us with some great insight into the life of the police training officer and the valuable information Dave learned as he was coming up through the ranks with the LAPD.

I spoke to Andy Wells (No Left Turn In Education)  about what's going on with education in the state of Missouri.  All I can say is that it's SHOCKING!!

Ike Skelton came in and we discussed the remaining days of the state legislative session.

I had the chance to talk with my friend Dan Wos.  He is the author of the "Good Guy/Bad Gun" series of books.  We always have a great conversation when it comes the 2nd Amendment.

Lydia Porter stopped by.  Lydia is running for the office of Presiding Commissioner of Camden County.  She discussed what she thought was important to he rplatform and to the citizens of Camden County.
