The Interim Sexual Misconduct Policy at the University of Michigan, was enacted on January 9th, 2019. It requires accusers of sexual assault to be cross-examined by the accused. In August, the ACLU of Michigan wrote an open letter to the university asking them to reverse this interim policy.
We talk with these students opposed to the policy to discuss the differences between Title IX and the U's Interim Policy, and why the U opted for this update.
