Everyone was affected in some way when COVID hit. To hear how rental companies were impacted, Justin and Matt are joined by Nick Schmeichel, Owner and President of Sideline Productions, to hear how he was impacted. He talks about some events he has been able to help with including high school graduations and the way communities have come together to support their graduates.

With multiple audio installations in recent years taking place in Texas high school stadiums and arenas, Justin and Matt were joined by Scott Luce and Mike Howell, regional sales representatives in North Texas, to share information on these Daktronics projects. Daktronics and Intereum have worked together to bring a new installation online at Graco, Inc. in Minneapolis. To hear about the project and how the companies work together, Justin and Matt spoke with Jeremy Schneider, sales engineer at Intereum. To discuss the differences between a broker and manufacturer model for producing LED displays, Justin and Matt are joined by Brett Wendler, Daktronics Vice President of design and development. Brett covers the issues of sourcing and partnering with component suppliers, how much control that gives a manufacturer over the design and engineering of their LED displays, and how that affects the testing, performance, service and support of a final product. And we can’t forget, how it might be easy to produce one display perfectly and as intended, but it’s much harder to produce 100 out of 100 displays perfectly.
