As a result, the continent languished behind with the dream of having pockets deep enough to facilitate its transformation, whiles relying on aid and external financing to push forward.

Today the story is different, capital no longer is the problem. Taken from the Africa Finance Corporation’s 2026 State of Africa’s Infrastructure report, Africa now has $4T waiting to be deployed in the right manner.
