IN THIS EPISODE~ One thing we do not have a shortage of when researching the Assassination is rifles, and stories of different rifles. From Roger Craig's "7.65 Mauser" in the Texas School Book Depository to the alleged-by-the official-cover-up-murder weapon~the junk Manlicher Carcano~to rifles that turn up in the official record and then simply vanish. We will examine here the strange tale of another 7.65mm Mauser that turned up abandoned in a hotel room in Indiana just days after the JFK Hit, completely disassembled and wiped clean of prints.
Plus, we'll shift gears and follow a lead given to New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison by Ramparts Magazine and a Mexican journalist during Garrison's investigation of Kennedy's murder. While possibly not connected to the Assassination, it's a fascinating "Deep-Cover" tale of CIA, intrigue and murder that culminates~AFTER being brought to Garrison's attention~in what may have been the most daring and brazen prison break of the 20th Century.

IN THIS EPISODE~In January of 1964, Texas Attorney General Waggoner Carr contacted Warren Commission Chief Counsel J. Lee Rankin to inform him that accused assassin Lee Oswald had been a paid informant of The FBI to the tune of $200 per month. The original transcript of the Commission meeting on the subject was destroyed, and the subject quickly buried.
11 years later, then-CIA Director William Colby recieved a startling phone call from wealthy socialite and former financial-backer of private Paramilitary Cuba Raids, Claire Boothe Luce, who told Colby an ominous tale of Anti-Castro Cubans who claimed to have privately and quietly placed Lee Oswald under their own surveillance in New Orleans and Miami in 1963, complete with tape recordings and photographs.
We'll dive head-long into the connections between this story and OperationTILT, and head-long into a fascinating recently-released transcript of the actual phone calls between Colby and Luce, and Colby's follow up call to Luce's extremely upset and scared-of-the-FBI contact with the Anti-Castro Cubans involved in tailing Lee Oswald.

Morrow~an alleged former CIA Operative and convicted conterfeiter~and some of the claims he made in his 1992 book, "First Hand Knowledge." (Immigration & Naturalization Service) Agent Wendell Roache, who told the Church Committee about surveilling Anti-Communist Extremists in Louisiana, and what possible avenues of Research this surveillance may point us toward.
Then, we'll switch gears and discuss more contradictions revealed in the documents regarding the FBI and the destruction of the CIA's "Oswald In Mexico City"-Tapes.

IN THIS EPISODE~ Antonio Cuesta is a name that is maybe not familiar to some, but to Seasoned Researchers, his is a story that is not only familiar, but to some extent "checks out", has credibility, and demands examination and consideration.

Both of whom were ex-gangsters, Anti-Castro, Anti-Kennedy, totally ruthless, and neck-deep in Covert Ops.
