February 27, 2016DFC Ep #42 : Tommy Lee WallaceEpisode 42. Our weekly roundup of the best new releases in the world of vinyl soundtracks, and conversations with the people behind both the music and the films they accompany. This week we're absolutely thrilled to welcome our first film director to the DFC. From being a young musician growing up in Kentucky interested in the arts, through his years studying design and animation then attending USC film school alongside friends John Carpenter and Nick Castle, Tommy Lee Wallace quickly found himself working on feature films including Carpenter's early classics Dark Star, Assault on Precinct 13 and The Fog as both production designer and editor. He helped 'shape' horror icon Michael Myers in the original Halloween, before going on to co-write and direct cult movies such as Halloween III - Season of the Witch, Fright Night Pt 2 and the TV mini series based on Stephen King's IT.
