Former pro-wrestler, podcast host, preschool teacher and overall great friend, Sam Seitles visits the show. We get open, honest, and very real as we discuss the ups and downs of life under quarantine, life as a pro-wrestler, owning a preschool, Evel Knievel, Hulk Hogan, and of course - Mr Rogers! (Got a problem with that!?)
This was one of my favorite conversations with one of my favorite human beings. Check out his show, The Pillars of Hammonton!
Actor, producer, screenwriter, podcast host and super good friend, Manny Mertis joins the show for an in depth interview. We talk shop, movie making, life, and his latest endeavor as host of his own podcast show The Hook Exhibit!
"When you see your own greatness within yourself, you can only cause a positive affect in the world!" says the one time stylist to the stars, and former host of Style Network's "Peter Perfect." Peter Ishkhans' amazing journey from leaving his Beverly Hills salon, moving to India, and now back in L.A. as a life coach, is an extraordinary story. In this episode, he shares his ideas and gives us some powerful insights and enlightenment into self empowering yourself, and finding your inner peace and happiness.
A very cool chat with Bob Cowsill. Stay till the end, because I have been given permission to play a track (or two) from their yet to be released 20 song album! Their new song, "Lend a Hand" will be immediately following the program. If you're a Cowsills fan, you do not want to miss this!
"There is no Mars Program", said a frustrated Story Musgrave during my interview with him. I could tell he would love to see the space program evolve more faster than it has been. I also found us talking on top of each other when I pressed him about UFOs, though he does strongly believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
Overall, I have come to really enjoy this man. He is amazing, inspiring, and, at 85 years young, still reinventing himself.
A very rare moment for the show! Dan and his son Brendan welcome comedy legend, film and TV star Tommy Chong to the show. The show goes for over an hour so strap yourselves in for this one!
The Accosiation provided the soundtrack to many young lives in the 1960's. Their hits ranged from the soft sound of "Never My Love" and Cherish, to the rockers like Along Comes Mary and Six Man Band! Jim Yester was a first hand witness to the success of the band, and shares his memories of playing on The Smothers Brother's Show, the Monterey Pop Festival, and playing the Hollywood Bowl with the WHO. He also shares some great stories and insights to what it was like with the Association, and how they still play, so well, together today.
An absolute MUST LISTEN! Dan gives music legend, Bobby Rydell, a call to see how he and his wife are handling the quarantine. Some of the topics also discussed are Ann-Margaret, Sinatra, Perry Como and more!
When in quarantine what's there to do? Well you can do yard work, clean the house or talk to your rock star friends! Listen as me and Gary Puckett, from Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, discuss coping under the quarantine, his musical influences, his band, the history of The Union Gap , Playing on Ed Sullivan, and more...
ENJOY!
