Hey everyone, welcome back to my podcast. Today, I wanted to share my personal journey of starting an online business in my forties while being a stay-at-home dad and also doing music licensing.
When I hit my forties, I realized that I wanted to have more control over my time and create a business that could provide for my family while still allowing me to be present for my kids. And even though I was making a living with music licensing I was also doing YouTube videos. Which was the beginning of my online business journey.
But, with no prior experience in the online world, I had to learn a lot from scratch. I had to figure out how to create a website, attract customers, and most importantly, build a business that was profitable. It was challenging, but I was determined.
While building my online business, I also continued to pursue my passion for music licensing. I had been licensing my music for a few years and knew that I wanted to continue to do so. This meant juggling two businesses, but with my determination and time management skills, I made it work.
The online business I started was a knowledge-based business, which teaches musicians and composers how to license their music. It was something I had experience with and was confident that I could deliver great results for my clients.
Fast forward a few years, and my online business has grown significantly. It has allowed me to be there for my kids while also pursuing my passion for music licensing.
Starting an online business later in life may seem daunting, but it is definitely possible. It requires determination, hard work, and a willingness to learn. But, with the right mindset, it can be one of the best moves you can make for yourself and your family.
Thanks for tuning in to my podcast. I hope my story has inspired you to take action and start your own online business. Until next time, keep growing!
