Burnout is just an overachiever word for depression (usually induced by work). I have had symptoms, obvious ones, for months. People even told me what it might be, but depression wasn’t in my dictionary, it wasn’t in my universe. I ignored the symptoms until my mind clearly said “no, we are going to address these issues.”

Cliff is the Founder and CEO of Speechify which turns text into audio and is mostly used by auditory learners. Today, Speechify is the #1 iOS app in its category, above the New York Times. Cliff launched Speechify only 2 years ago to help himself because he is dyslexic. He's one of the youngest people on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Originally from Israel, Cliff moved to the US with his family when he was 13 years old. In college, he built 36 different products and won the MIT and Stanford hackathons twice. He studied renewable energy engineering and used this knowledge to optimize his workouts as a parkour athlete. Thanks to Speechify, he now listens to over 100 books a year. 

Ryan is in charge of running growth at Revolut, he has worked on a ton of fun campaigns, focusing a lot on influencer and viral marketing. This is a great chat if you're interested in growth hacking. Ryan has used a lot of great hacks to scale the banking product across Europe. Before Revolut, Ryan paid off his college debt by growing and selling off Instagram accounts from Bali, that's what I call a true growth hacker! 

Mik is the founder of Tattoodo, world's biggest tattoo community. I visited their Copenhagen office and had a great chat about the process of creating and building Tattoodo. I've know Mik for a few years but this was the first time we had the opportunity to diver deeper into the early stories of how they got off the ground. Mik is a great story teller so this episode was a lot of fun for me to record. Mik is very straight forward in his communication, no bs. In college his studies philosophy and we also discuss how that influenced him as a founder of a startup and how he uses philosophy in his every-day life.
