This was originally supposed to be on "Arete" but was cut last minute in favor of "Envy (Reinterpretation)” I could’ve still included it but with the intro to "Adept" this would've dragged the overall flow of the album/EP.

This is the original track opened up and remastered. This version is exactly how I meant it to be heard when I mixed and mastered in the studio in 2019 only to have the process of distribution and compression fuck it up. In this version the bass surrounds you, instead of being lost and crushed down to an audible, you can feel it in this version. The overdriven sound is allowed to breath, and there is depth in-between with a clear midrange, you can detect the space compared to the original. I’ve gotten messages on how this piece has served as a meditative tool for some of you. This version will be even more immersive on just about any system you play it on.

This is the final sessions release for the Arete era (Spell One).

Remnants of “Isolation”

A literal remix of the original studio tracks with no orchestra, just the band mix... all reverb and spatial acoustics removed, just a tight and gritty sound. The piece is in C# minor which I've been told is a very healing frequency... It's very hard to pull off heavy intensity at that level in guitars... it requires a lot of time and EQ tweaking to find just the right spot... Hopefully you have a Soundcloud Plus account or whatever, because it's gonna take uncompressed audio to really fully experience it.

Just playing around, not serious on this one.

A more raw mix without the strings and one that brings up all the background stuff that’s blended in on a subliminal level in the original.
