Just lovely!

Just lovely! As always Ms. Herron's characters are well fleshed out. I spent the whole story wanting to listen to bluegrass! Fans of her earlier work as well as new readers looking for an escapist read will not be disappointed! Curl up for the day with this, under the covers or on the beach, because you won't want to put it down.

Take some time away in Darling Bay!

Loved this read! Reading this was like setting down with a cup of tea and some good friends. Set some time aside and get to know the folks in Darling Bay. Can't wait to read Rachael's next one!

A darling little romance.

You know they're going to end up together in the end, but that doesn't mean it's not fun to watch them get there. I have to wonder how many delirious romances the town of Darling Bay can play host to before it starts to get a reputation... Loved the music angle.

Wow! This was Fantastic!

I loved this story so much I just ordered the next two books in this series. The story itself was written so well it was easy to read. The story flowed so effortlessly. I loved the quirky characters inhabiting this small town. This was a really fun, quick read with just the right romance and heat. I had to admire Adele's gumption and had work, I would have never expected that since she was once a big star. I also loved Nate right from the start. The way he was able to make something of himself, after being raised the way he was, was something to behold. I also loved the way he took the downtrodded under his wing and made sure they got the things they needed, without running rough-shod over them.

I would highly recommend this book!

Good Old-Fashioned Romance

Written for a modern audience, The Songbirds of Darling Bay is a fun, quick read with just the right romance and heat. Set in a coastal town in Northern California, the characters are quirky and real, the lovers are real people with good points and character flaws like the rest of us. I am looking forward to reading more about the people of Darling Bay.
