We've past the midway point of the work week and that means another episode of Better Lait Than Never is on deck and ready to pleasure your earholes. Okay, so maybe that sounds grosser than I meant, but I'm still excited about a new podcast episode anyway.

Kicking off this week's podcast, I got started with a scary story from Monday night regarding my dog, Frank, and a late night trip to the emergency vet. As you'll hear, what happened to my dude was pretty damned scary for me but the good news is that he's bouncing right back and will be okay in no time. Changing gears entirely, I started the news with a look at the Darnell Nurse quotes that were making the rounds from earlier this week after he jumped on Luke Gazdic's podcast and they were talking about dealing with pressure. Ironically, having Nurse joking about people getting mad at him for the traffic on Stony Plain Road had people getting angry at him, but that's the way things go in Edmonton sometimes. I also did another run through on the Ryan McLeod contract situation as Frank Seravalli said this past week on the DFO Rundown that the team and player are still quite a ways apart on the next deal. Changing gears entirely, I jumped into the Question of the Week that revolved around a list of the most hated fast food places in the country. Lastly, I wrapped up the episode with a fresh round of voicemails to get your take on the BLTN presidential election and what’s been going on over the last week.
