He tells us about how he got into the hunting industry and his first trip to Africa. He goes into detail about hunting the Big 5,- elephants, buffalo, lions, rhino, and leopards. He tells us how he started J and R outfitters in Indiantown, Florida, and what it was like when he brought water buffalo on the ranch and how he got into bird hunting, particularly quail hunting. Welcome to The Dash In The Middle podcast. Growing up I struggled with that million dollar question.... what am I going to do with my life? It can be one of the hardest questions to answer, but it is one of the most important. Generally speaking what is the first thing someone new asks you when you meet? Usually it's "so what do you do for a living?". I love asking that question, learning about peoples lives, what they do, and how they got to where they are today. That's how this podcast was born, we all have two dates on our headstones, the day we were born and the day we die , but the dash in the middle is what counts the most. My hope for this podcast is that we will positively impact our viewers who may be searching for the right career, wanting to start a business, dealing with hardship and adversity, or simply wanting to learn something new by listening to the wide variety of guests that we plan to host.
