Today's guest is a renowned writer, poet, and dramatist, known for shaping new paradigms through her literary and theatrical works. With a deep understanding of English literature, poetry, and storytelling, she has crafted compelling narratives that have been published in Flare Journal, 34th Parallel (issues 89 and 105), Swifts and Slows, and The Gravity of The Thing.
A Yale University English literature graduate, she worked under the legendary literary critic Harold Bloom, who mentored her until his passing in 2019. Bloom described her as an “extraordinary writer on the open road to the emergence of her own voice” and a defining literary figure of her generation.
Beyond poetry, she has made a significant impact in theater and playwriting. Her debut book, Societal Dropout: A Culture Manifesto For The New Millennium, employs theatrical storytelling to challenge societal norms. Her play Forget-Me-Not was a finalist in Manhattan Repertory’s One Act Festival, while These Foolish Things and Merrily Down The Stream premiered at New York University’s Black Box Theater and The Tank. The Truth According To Rose debuted at The Fertile Ground Festival in Portland, Oregon.
