Jesus told the disciples that He would die and that He would be raised on the third day. Jesus told the disciples how he would die and what would take place when He was lifted up. Jesus appeared to the disciples after He had risen and He spent forty days teaching them things concerning the Kingdom. After Christ ascended, the Church was birthed on the Day of Pentecost but in less than 20 years people were questioning if Christ was ever actually raised from the dead. This teaching deals with the resurrection of Christ and what became available to us through Him being lifted up on the cross.
