In this sermon we were reminded that God is holy and just, and that His wrath against sin is all too real. This chapter shows the seriousness of sin, but also calls His people to strongly respond by returning to Him in prayer with repentance and faith."The Lord has swallowed up without mercy all the habitations of Jacob; in his wrath he has broken down the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; he has brought down to the ground in dishonor the kingdom and its rulers." (Lamentations 2:2)
