Had me from page 1
Wonderful writing from a new author. Great story. Very engaging and a real page turner. Loved it from the get go
A real page-turner!
I couldn't put my Kindle down once I started reading this book! Fabulous characters, great dialog, and a fast-moving plot drew me into this timely novel just as if I were watching an Academy-award feature film... not surprising now that I've learned that the author is a film industry professional. The combination of his understanding of the film business and his passion for environmental issues all expressed with masterly written prose made this a much more compelling book than others of this genre such as the latest books by Barbara Kingsolver and T.C. Boyle (two authors whose earlier books I enjoyed). Highly recommended if you want to escape into a great story relevant to the world today.
Kerouac and Michael Moore
Phillip:
You have managed to blend a Jack Keouac story with a Michael Moore documentary. The resulting format allows you to express your liberal views on a host of political and cultural issues while exploring characters of your generation. I think the Indian story is perfect and sums up the anger and disenfranchisement that many of us feel, offering the glimmer of hope that our better selves can sometimes win out over greed and deceit.
Mood and texture is varied and your style unpretentious

Intriguing, thought provoking, and entertaining!!
From the beginning to end the author wove a tale that was griping, full of fascinating characters, and completely relevant. There was titillating sex, hilarious humor, and plot twist that kept me wanting to read on. Loved the style of writing, smart and fascinating. Let me know when your next book is out!!!
