You might think that your pet, which is covered in fur, is just fine outside, but that is not necessarily true. In fact, for the most part, your pet might feel about as comfortable as you do outside.

There are, of course, some breeds with double coats, that may do better in the cold weather. But many things including acclamation, physical size, or breed affect how resistant an animal may be to winter weather.

Nutrition also plays a role in how you keep your animals safe during the winter.
