In this episode of the DD-214 Files. I sit down with fellow veteran Nate Henson and give him the opportunity to share a little of his story.
Some of the hardest battles are the ones we never talk about. The Things We Don't Say Out Loud is an honest look at the thoughts, memories, guilt, pain, and emotions many veterans carry quietly long after the uniform comes off, and what can happen when we finally give those things a voice.
There are things about the military I'll always miss. The people, the brotherhood, the purpose, and knowing exactly where I belonged. But missing something doesn't always mean you want it back. In this episode, I will talk about that srange space a lot of veterans live in, being grateful for what the military gave us while knowing that chapter needed to end.
Every DD-214 tells only part of a veteran's story.
The DD-214 Files is a podcast about what happens after military service. The struggles, the victories, and everything in between.
In this short Introduction I share why I started this podcast and the mission behind it.
