From the greats of the 90s; Nas, The Pharcyde, and A Tribe Called Quest to the contemporary "greats" of today, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, and Kanye West (the weird, new Kanye West, that is**), Hip Hop's glory years seem a far cry from mumble rap and trap beats. But is there more to the current state of Hip Hop than what meets the eye? Or are contemporary artists simply lazy and disrespectful of the art from?
