The Dead Daisies Podcast

More than just a "making of," the documentary delves into the very essence of the blues, tracing its historical influence and The Dead Daisies' own journey of discovery that led them to embrace this fundamental genre. Viewers will be taken on a compelling ride, witnessing the band's road to FAME and the moments that brought Lookin’ For Trouble to life in the hallowed recording studio."Lookin' For Trouble" goes beyond just the studio floor, featuring candid and revealing interviews with lead vocalist John Corabi, guitarist Doug Aldrich, and bassist Michael Devin. These insightful conversations offer a unique perspective on the individual songs featured on the album, exploring their historical context and how The Dead Daisies reinterpreted them with their signature hard-hitting sound. Fans will gain a deeper understanding of the inspiration behind tracks like Robert Johnson's "Crossroads," John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom," "Black Betty" (popularized by Lead Belly and later Ram Jam), Muddy Waters' "I'm Ready," and the B.B. King classic "The Thrill Is Gone", all infused with the band's raw energy and passion.
