In the early hours of March 31, 2001 emergency services received a call that a body had been found in a swimming pool during a house party in Roydon in Essex. The emergency services operation soon realized that this would be no normal call for help. The address was that of a British icon, a household name, and a much loved superstar Michael Barrymore. The body was that of Stuart Lubbock. He had sustained horrific injuries, which police later found to be the result of a serious sexual attack.
