Welcome to our UK local election special with the acclaimed authors and journalists Oliver Eagleton and Paul Holden.

Oliver Eagleton is Managing Editor of Phenomenal World and author of The Starmer Project: A Journey to the Right (2022).

Paul Holden is an investigative journalist and author with 15 years experience investigating corruption. He is the author of The Fraud: Keir Starmer, Labour Together and the Crisis of British Democracy (2025).

Ahmed Alnaouq and Hala Hanina go beyond the headlines and hysteria, examining the widespread attacks on Zack Polanksi and the Green Party by the media and political establishment, Starmer’s latest assault on Palestine solidarity in Britain and whether these local elections spell the beginning of the end for his party.
