Puleng, Fikile, Wade, Wendy and the rest of the squad from Parkurst High are back for another drama filled season of Netflix South Africa’s original series Blood and Water! This means we too had to come back and record a special episode of The Debrief Podcast to thoroughly debrief this season. In this “After Show Special”, we start off with our overall impressions of the season. We then get into a detailed analysis of each of the characters, from Puleng leaving no bridge unburnt in her quest for the truth, even stealing her brother’s life savings, to the unjust murder of Spiyoyo. We get into it all. We end off this special episode with our top 3 favourite characters, and give our predictions for season 3. We hope you enjoy this episode.
A special shout out to Netflix SA for providing a platform for South African stories to be told so authentically and beautifully. And another special shout out to Aus’ Nosipho Dumisa for creating this beautiful world and allowing us access to it. Thank you!
