Contemplation used to be reserved for monks, clerics, and or academics. Today we are all called to be contempletives, to engage in the great reflection of reimagining who we are as a human family.

What is sacred? Is it different fro holy or divine? Is life sacred? Why? Humankind came up with the concept of sacred and the holy for purposes that serve us all... as well as the ongoing development of the human family.

We explore the way human beings have seen God. As well, we dance with the mystics and look at God as a “verb” instead of merely a “noun”. And finally, we look at the Holy Presence as an experience and not mere belief.

We explorers what good and healthy leadership looks like and how America’s present leadership is a failure. We spend much of the podcast uncovering what kind of leadership we need as a people at this pivotal time of change in our history. [email protected]

America seems to learn and grow the most when we are at odds with ourselves and a threat to the very roots that give us life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We are at such an impasse now. We see this as a moment ripe with possibilities of a new vision of who and what we can be and become.

How is it we learn to be who we are with all our biases and prejudices? What is this process of socialization and internalization of our values and ideologies? And, how can we begin to see this process and consciously rewrite parts of who we are?

We try to be honest about our own racism and look at some of the underlying assumptions that make it such an insidious phenomena as not so much a problem of people of color but a problem of “whiteness”. We explore the Carl Jung’s idea of “synchronicity” and try to talk about it in ways that make it more understandable to the western thinking mind.
