In an unexpected twist, Brian Walshe’s defense team rested its case Thursday morning without ever calling a witness to the stand. During opening statements, defense attorney Larry Tipton told the jury that during the trial you will hear evidence of how an unexplained sudden death does and can happen; the cause of death which Walshe’s defense team are arguing happened to Ana Walshe. As a result of the defense resting, closing arguments are set for Friday morning followed by jury deliberations set to begin Friday afternoon. Criminal defense attorney Phil Tracy checked in to discuss the case.
