With the holiday of Purim coming up, that takes place in Persia, we commemorate evil turning around to good. How apropos that today we have the pleasure of speaking with Esther Amini who grew up in a Persian-Jewish household. Esther wrote a heart wrenching memoir titled Concealed where the reader can see that even though one can physically escape religious persecution, emotionally they can still be in that same place, and in essence the past is never dead. 

Concealed speaks not only to Iranians and their first-generation
American children, but to every immigrant and descendant who feels that complicated push-pull of their legacy, honoring traditional customs vs. breaking the mold and fighting oppression. Concealed has received international praise!

In addition to giving us a brief summary of the book, and the fascinating reason she felt compelled to author it, she explains why she chose Concealed as the title, since it has multiple meanings. 

Esther also discusses what it was like growing up in the
free world as the daughter of Jewish Iranian parents who suffered persecution, and she read a passage from her book that illustrates her point that silence in her home was expected, and how she dealt with it. Esther then goes into detail about life in Mashdad today as opposed to her parents’ days. 

 Decent citizens respect justice, and the ones who make
the world a better place, because they protect and defend what is right and just. It used to be back in the day that when a child would complain about an adult being inappropriate, the viewpoint was not to believe a child, and that children live in their own make-believe world. How horrifying that must have been for children who were victimized.  

Not only that, but the old-fashioned mentality was that the educator is always right. It had gotten to the point where children knew that they might as well keep quiet about inappropriateness perpetrated against them. Oftentimes, these children went through life bearing the pain of their abuse.  

In fact, there are adults today who say that when they
were growing up how it was known in specific schools who the perpetrating educator was, and these children knew to watch out for that person.  

Fast forward several years later when the people became savvier, and actually uttered the words, “sexual abuse” if their child was victimized. These parents would scream and try to bring the perpetrator to justice. But, for those who followed the renowned stories, we know that things did not go well for those families, and not only was justice never served, but the family was ostracized for daring to accuse a so-called respectable person of abusing their child.  

Well, we have come a long way since then, because an
educator of children said enough is enough, and risking his own self and family, he started going after perpetrators and calling them out.  

Rabbi Yakov Horowitz who conducts child abuse prevention and parenting workshops eloquently explains the situation and how to combat this issue. He goes into detail about why a particular child might be targeted, and what to look out for to prevent such a tragedy from occurring.

The Definitive Rap’s Israeli correspondent and strategic analyst, Barry Shaw shared breaking news for us, and a couple of scoops that will be stunning information about the Russia/Ukraine crisis. Specifically, how NATO and the U.S. have handled or mishandled it, and the consequence of which will leave Israel to deal with the Iranian nuclear/proxy threat. He discusses the potential danger to the U.S., and this huge rush to complete the Iran negotiations by March 1. During the interview we discussed her investigative piece called Rampant Injustice, where she exposed the trampling of the Constitutional rights of Americans during white collar crime investigations, and how she is fighting for the cause to term limit Congress.  

Also discussed was that Dr. Anthony Fauci has been
criticized for his funding with American’s tax dollars for experiments
involving canine testing, specifically immobilizing beagles whose heads are placed in boxes with starving fleas eating them alive. Jan Morgan then set the record straight about the controversial topic of when she gained national attention after banning Muslims from The Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range. 

 These days the topic of Secularism comes up much more than
in recent years. That is because people who classify themselves as secularists believe that religious beliefs and ideas should be neutral from the government,social economic and political fields, and even education. In other words, it is separating religion and the rest of the world. It is a philosophy throughout many religions, and particularly the Jewish religion, where secularism has also invaded. Our esteemed guest, Mrs. Molly Resnick, a veteran journalist and former Israeli TV, and NBC News TV Producer explains why this is happening.  

Mrs. Resnick is also the director of MATCKH-Mothers Against Teaching Children to Kill and Hate. Mrs. Resnick’s late husband, A”H, was the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s, Z”L, doctor. Mrs. Resnick also published the book “Forsake Not Thy Mother’s Teachings” where she interviewed 12 personalities, including the chief Rabbi of Russia, specifically because Marxism and Secularism agree that socialism is a good system of government, and how that is affecting Jewish life in Russia today. 

 What people talk about all the time, and one of the most important goals that everyone hopes to achieve, is also what politicians campaigning promise to fix or make happen. And that is world peace. We all want world peace. We crave it. We need it. Not a day goes by where something does not take place that reinstates the knowledge that we don’t have world peace, and we need to find a way to bring it about for good. 

Our esteemed guest Rabbi Ken Spiro, author of “World Perfect – The Jewish Impact on Civilization,” published by HCI books, “Crash Course in Jewish History,” published by Targum Press, and “Destiny – Why A Tiny Nation Plays Such A Huge Role In History,” published by Geffen Publishing House, and also Senior Lecturer and Researcher for Aish HaTorah, Jerusalem, talked about the persecution that Jewish people have endured, from the beginning of time; why it happens, and what could actually be done about it.  

 We will learn a few tips from Rabbi Spiro who interviewed 1,500 westerners from the United States, South America, and throughout Europe. What he discovered and published was that respect for human life, peace and harmony, justice and equality, education, family, and social responsibility are fundamental human values that regardless of background when all those aspects are achieved, yes, world peace is possible, and can be achieved.
 

 Kenneth Abramowitz, a threat analyst and author of The Multi Front War says in his book that America doesn’t know it yet, but our country is fighting an international war. The fact is that the war is being waged on various fronts, both internal and external. During our interview Ken, in his keen insight explained with profound wisdom how America is fighting multiple enemies, and
people don’t even know it. There are international threats facing our nation. For example, everything that happens in Iran to the riots in our streets, it is
all part of one siege. And that what we are actually fighting here is World War 3, but due to false narratives our leaders fail to see that. He explains how to defend America from Political Islam, China, North Korea, Russia, Cuba, Pandemics, and Racial Strife, and we will hear about their sympathizers. Ken uses history to
make many of his arguments, such as the rise of communism after World War 2, and the resurgence of socialism in the mainstream western world today. Also discussed was his site, Save The West, and how people can sometimes be their own worst enemy.  

 Very few if any would believe that less than 80 years since the end of the Holocaust a U.S. company would become the number one distributor of evil Nazi propaganda throughout the world. That was Amazon’s Hate for profit. But, world Jewry is very lucky that there is a hero who made sure that Amazon removed 26 Nazi films from their website -pages for 23 DVDs ceased to exist too and 3 on Prime are now listed as unavailable. But the most horrific Nazi films such as The Eternal
Jew, Yud Suss, and The Rothschild’s Shares in the Waterloo are all gone from their platform. Who gets the credit for that? Our guest, Dov Hikind! Dov is an Orthodox Jew, American politician,
activist, and radio talk show host. Dov is a former Democratic New York State Assemblyman representing Brooklyn's Assembly district 48, having held this position for 35 years – from January 1983 until December 2018. He is the Founder of Americans Against Antisemitism. Americans Against Antisemitsm is a grassroots coalition that mobilizes supporters to take social action against anti-Semites. We discussed how an American multinational company, and one of Big
5 companies allowed such hateful propaganda and literature that has the potential to cause tremendous harm exist on their platform.  

We talked about the hostage situation at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville Texas where the FBI fisrt said it was not an antisemitic act, and that it was not singularly focused on one issue, and that it was not related to the Jewish community, when the attacker was seeking the release of a woman from prison known as Lady AlQaede who was sentenced to 86 years in federal prison for attempting to kill US troops in Afganistan. Then the FBI retracted their statement.

In tribute to Sheldon Adelson, A'H, the billionaire who cared about Israel and the Jews, with Jonathan Tobin, award winning journalist and editor-in-chief of JNS. Sheldon was a billionaire on the
Forbe’s list of the world’s wealthiest people, and also one of the most prolific donors in conservative politics. This past week was his
Yahrzeit. We memorialize what he has done for the United States and Israel. In fact, he was one of the first super-wealthy Americans to take advantage of the Supreme Court's Citizens United Ruling, which has created the open door to 8 and 9 figure political donations so long as the money does not go to candidates or party committees, but rather to independent Super Pacs. For Sheldon it was not about how he made his money, but the manner in which he gave so much of it away. Together with
his lovely wide, Miriam, they built an empire of charity and goodwill to benefit people throughout the world. When Sheldon left this world on January 11 2021, it was a loss to all. Sheldon Adelson's life was not just about what he did, but he set the standard for other Jews to follow in
his footsteps. Being proud of one's Jewish heritage, and unapologetic about engaging in the interests of people and Israel. May Sheldon's memory be for a blessing.  

 With tourism drastically down as a result of Corona, Israel’s financial road to recovery hangs in the balance. Erica Schachne discusses how Israelis are living their lives with regard to helping the economy by increasing cultural interest, including a new play about the murder of Koby Mandel OUT OF THE CAVE, INTO THE LIGHT that was scheduled to debut on Jan. 11th. She also spoke about how Israeli's are refusing to allow fear of the virus to take over their lives.
