The Deliberative Podcast

In this episode, Neel joins Jim and Corey to talk about the wonderful world of the Forest Witches!  Also, have you heard that Lunars is in redlines!?  We also weigh in on a listener question about handling travel time in a game, and Corey thinks his answer is so good, it should be added to the rulebook immediately!

In this episode, James Bell joins the crew to look at all the new Exalted monthly content just released, explore the Shrine City of Wood created by a listener, and we go deep into the history of tabletop role-playing as a hobby, hearing how James Bell has been there all along - gradually becoming the man who would end up running all of the Onyx Path Kickstarters!

In addition, all four of us address an age-old question sent in by a listener: Is Exalted hard?

In this episode, we share some personal heartache experienced when we collectively made the wrong choice about whether or not to use battle groups.  And we use that mistake as a teachable moment to talk about the four different 'types' of combat in Exalted: individual, battle groups, trivial opponents, and 'skip it'.

We also answer a listener's question about managing limit gain as the Storyteller in the form of a debate!

Special note: There is a decently lengthy ridiculous argument about how to pronouce a certain person's name included after the outro music.  Corey would like it to be known to all the interwebs that he was, in fact, exactly correct.
