The Dented Barrels Podcast

Happy 5th episode! We made it to a mini-milestone and still having a blast!  We originally wanted to talk Monty Python instead of Mel Brooks but as you'll hear the conversation went awry.  A couple Barrels might not fully understand the meaning of "guilty pleasure".

In this episode the Barrels discuss:

Epic movie car chases (:50)

Stranger Things 2 reaction (14:00)

Mel Brooks Films (23:30)

and Guilty Pleasures (33:52)

...We also announce the winner of our Facebook drawing (12:13)

In this Episode the Barrels discuss Stranger Things 2 predictions, favorite one-off scary movies, favorite commercial jingles from childhood, horror film monster face-offs, and favorite trick-or-treating candy.  It’s our Halloween episode, and things are getting scary around here… Trick-or-treat!

Kevin is under the weather, and the remaining four barrels manage to take the episode off the deep end. Discussions include the best city-saving trinity of superheroes, the validity of using Rotten Tomatoes, bad TV series finales, and Nicolas Cage films. Yeah, Nicolas Cage films...this is what happens when the host gets sick.

In this episode: More disagreements! We discuss best film adaptations of video games, favorite movie snacks, Blade Runner 2049, personal top five movies ever, recommendations for what's streaming right now, and Justice League trailer reaction. Plus, we kick things off discussing the best film composers. Drop into the mayhem that is the Dented Barrels.

In this episode we discuss the Last Jedi trailer, Stranger Things use of CGI, Battlefront 2 and the trend of DLCs, and some love for the film Jaws (which is where we take our podcast name). Plus, is Sigourney Weaver hot? The first of many debates on this flagship edition of the podcast.
