Twitter saw nothing like this all year - an explosive spat between champion defender of the incumbent BJP Central Govt. #Kangana Ranaut and Punjabi Superstar Singer / Actor #Diljit Dosanjh.... it all started with Kangana spreading fake news about #Farmers and trying to link the protest with Shaheen Bagh.... Diljit would have none of it and slammed Kangana in front of his millions of supporters. 

Despite the best efforts of the Queen troll - Diljit kept his point clear and focused - apologise for called an aged mother a person 'available' for Rs. 100. 

Kangana's meltdown exposed two things - Bollywood should have exposed her long ago and sometimes u have to get down and dirty to wrestle with trolls.

They have peacefully protested for months - they have raised legitimate concerns - they gave due notice to Govt about their #DilliChallo march - they braved water cannons in winter and tear gas shells....yes they kept their peace and marched ahead. Now the Govt machinery including Godi Media is trying to brand the protesting #farmers as #Khalistani.

There is something deeply worrying in the Govts new #FarmersBill - but the BJP Govt does not want to listen .... today with the #FarmersProtest knocking on the doors of the capital with #DilliChallo....the administration had to back down (just a little bit) 

While the farmers have been allowed access to the grounds at Burari - there is no clarity on how the Govt will react to the main demand of the farmers - ensure that our food producers get their MSP under the new system that heavily supports private companies.

Also any indication of a 'forcible' conversion of religion lead to punishment of upto 10 years.

Latest in the Ganja Saga - comedian #BhartiSingh was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for possessing about 86 grams of weed along with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. A few months ago, Bollywood actress #RheaChakraborty was also arrested under similar charges and put under judicial custody for possession of cannabis. (This fit nicely to the media narrative that Reha got Sushant Singh addicted to Ganja)  However, the most vilified drug in India these days - was legal in India - until Rajiv Gandhi banned it in 1985 due to US pressure. Since then, the illegality of marijuana has been a subject to many debates.  NOW - many countries - all over the world, including many states in US have already legalized the recreational use of cannabis. Sensing the anger amongst people - the Govt announced that the state run Bank of Baroda will roll back new changes that were brought in for even deposit of money to the bank!
