In this episode, I talk about moonlighting for designers. Moonlighting is all about working on the side of your main job. It's a great way to make some extra cash, create fun portfolio pieces and gather more experience. Call it a side hustle, call it freelancing in your spare time, just don't quit your day job!

There are 5 main things to keep in mind while you are moonlighting.

1. Don't moonlight on company time

2. Check your companies policy on side work

3. Choose your projects wisely

4. Don't post about what you working on until its all done

5. Don't take on more than you can handle

I am not a person to recommend working 18 hour days. I don't think you should work yourself into an early grave. There are more important things in your life than money, But sometimes you gotta jam out a few extra projects and if you follow these tips you'll be better off. Know when to say yes and when to say no and enjoy yourself.
