The Detroit community finding ways to ease worries over SNAP benefits

Metro Detroiters who rely on SNAP to feed their families could see their benefits interrupted amid the federal government shutdown. 1.4 MILLION Michigan residents depend on SNAP for their daily meals including 40 percent of Detroit households.
