Rock’n’Roll Goddess Jane Wiedlin probably doesn’t need an introduction, but... here it is anyway. She’s a founding member of The Go-Go’s, a prolific songwriter and mistress of catchy pop tunes. Just some of her several hits include The Go-Go’s “Our Lips Are sealed” and her solo work: “Blue Kiss”, “Rush Hour” “Tangled” and “But For The Grace of God” by Keith urban, which went to number one. Among others, she’s collaborated with Sparks and more recently, Italian musician Pietro Straccia on Ellectrodomestico. She’s also actor and voiceover artist – you may have heard Jane on several cartoons and not realized it was her! In this episode, Jane and lifelong bestie hostess Pleasant Gehman chat about everything from the late 1970’s punk scene to the early 1980’s rockabilly craze to 1990’s and early 2000’s debauchery Los Angeles style. In addition, they spill the beans on the three feature films they’ve been in together, including the noir women-in-prison film “Stuck” and The Go-Go’s documentary. Also; Jane’s Hawaiian farm and her army of crazy pigmy barnyard animals, kooky touring stories and much more.
