But what if the spiritual leaders we have right now were specifically chosen by the Lord for our benefit, then how would we treat them, and with what level would we line up behind them. We all want to stay faithful to the Lord and the thought that He would ever consider us adulterers is about as painful as anything we can consider. But perhaps the way to stay faithful to the Lord Jesus isn't just about NOT sinning, maybe we need to go even further.
