The Hip-Hop Chief brings Mac aka YaBoy on The Salute to chop it up about a few things! They start off by discussing his decision to join the Air Force and what influence has serving had on his comedy. The pair also discuss some real issues happening in the world today including the Derrick Chauvin trial. The conversation then lightens up as they talk about a shared passion...sneakers! And they finally end with a good laugh as they talk about their favorite comedic scenes from movies!

This week, Mac and Makk have a legit question: "What do people have to do to not be shot/harassed by law enforcement officers?" (30:34). Special thanks to Pitmaster Eric Johnson, who bless the episode with his perspective as a law enforcement officer as to what is going on and his thoughts on what steps can be taken to try and start to remedy this problem (1:31:33).

The jokes and laughs will be back next week, but we felt this was something that needed to be discussed.

They start the show off going over the group's most popular bracket so far (17:53), then discuss the more than likely, bad idea that is the live PowerPuff Girl show (1:31:19), and discuss if there will ever be a good live action video game movie (1:54:51). They also spend some time talking about DMX and share some moments and memories that his music brings to them (2:15:43). Finally, they end show giving flowers to some of the awesome SmokePit Pitmasters (2:42:02)!

E. Smitty started a new job and he sees that he has fears to conquer, as he deals with people that are not willing to help. As the Derek Chauvin murder trial is drawing to a close, the discussion of right and wrong is front and center! He reiterates that tomorrow is not promised to any of us, and when you leave, your legacy has to be able to stand on its own.

This week Makk and Mac review what has been a very eventful month. First they give their thoughts on "Godzilla vs Kong" (25:17). Then get in to several individuals who have had a month to remember: The Diabetic Racist (48:56); Kevin Durant sliding violently into DMs (58:13); Relationship "Guru" Derrick Jaxn (1:13:16); and finally, Lil' Nas X being what everyone said he'd be (1:32:04). They end the show giving flowers to some amazing members of The SmokePit community (1:47:44).

The Hip Hope Chief, Conscience Rhyme, sits down with another good friend in Power of Words (P.O.W) to discuss his new music and how being an officer in the military shaped his music!

Back from a long, inexcusable, hiatus...Mac is back with his good friend, Nat Martin (@iamnatmartin) and the two get into all the foolishness and craziness that happened in March. They start off talking about the horrible shooting in Atlanta that claimed several lives (6:19). Then they discuss how an announcer for a Oklahoma high school basketball game morphs into a racist when he's hungry, or so he says (39:30). Finally the two talk about one, Derrick Jaxn, and how the best thing for him to do is probably sit his ass down somewhere (56:58).

Time to wind down from the work week and head into the weekend with a couple of laughs. Mac and Makk will briefly give their thoughts on the highly anticipated Synder Cut of the "Justice League" movie, as well as share their thoughts on the first episode of "The Falcon and Winter Soldier." (19:53) We'll also talk as parents concerning the back and forth between gospel recording artist Kirk Franklin and his eldest son, and get some input from the Pitmasters on if they see anything wrong with how it all went down (51:48). Finally, they'll recap this week's bracket (Best One Hit Wonder of the 2000's) and see who the group chose as the go to hit from that era! (1:23:30)

The pair ask the hard working emcee about how his loved for hip hop stayed true as he climbed the ranks of of the United States Air Force, as well as what he thinks of the direction of hip hop and the art of the emcee in this day and age. One of the most entertaining interviews so far on the show!
