Lucy was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes just under 10 years ago but she hasn't let it stop her from continuing to play football for her local club. Lucy now works with the condition in her job role with Diabetes UK, whilst supporting TDFC where she can. Lucy also talks about the power of peer support as well as her ambitions for the TDFC Women's project kicking off in April 2022. Scott's a keen and talented runner who's also tackled to 2 DiaEuro tournaments with the UK Type 1 Diabetes Futsal squad and is well accomplished at managing his condition to deliver performance when he needs it. In this episode Scott shares his story from the day, the build up, the management of his glucose levels and the psychological impacts of running in such a big event!
