In this weeks episode, I explore some free consulting advice to the FCA with regards to their social media presence and some casual tips for improvement. I then discuss the cult phenomina of the hemline index and discuss whether it is actually real. Spoiler alert.... It's not.

In this latest instalment, we have a conversation with my good friend Dominic where we discuss reflections on University, Running and his Career. 

18 months into Dominic's job (minus the internship), Dominic provides some well rounded insight into how the first year has shaped his professional working identity. Equating it to a similar scenario as the first year of university away from home and "structure".

I'll take a moment to mention how we both found it particularly strange and artificial with how it felt to record this podcast, I'll bare that in mind going forward with future "interviews" and try and relax into them a lot more. First step may be not to even call it an interview.

In this episode we explore Jordan Collingwood and a brief snapshot of what has brought him to this moment and how he's ended up being roped into my fake podcast. Had a great conversation all be it not being face to face. Excited to do some more collaborative podcasts in the future and I'm sure we'll get Jordan back on as a co-host to discuss some topics and not just a biography about him.

Inaugural episode of the podcast.Obviously not perfect yet but starting with a quote I heard from Chris Williamson "Perfectionism is procrastination masquerading as quality control".We learn by doing so welcome to my "fake" podcast where I'll be forcing myself into thoughtful discussion of topics which I find interesting and aim to gain deeper knowledge of the world around us, particularly for a so called 22 year old failed grad, figuring out what he needs to do with his life.

Looking at what went right (not a lot) and what went wrong with the first episode. Moving onto a few bullet points I jotted down the day of recording, before realising I may not have the perfect touch of taking a topic and making it interesting especially without enough research. Excited to learn from this one and move forward.

In this episode I look at how alcohol can fit itself into my lifestyle as its becoming a significantly smaller player in the game of my life. Certainly has it's benefits with socialising however have to consider at what cost is this to our mental and physical health.

In this episode I explore different ways in which dopamine can enter our system and the ways in which we should aim to consume it. After all it is what makes us feel good.

Following a week off, and feeling a little bit lost I had the realisation that the feeling of being down could be due to consuming far too much social media and spiking my dopamine "unnaturally" prompting some research into the subject area and the differences in dopamine you'd receive from running and that from drugs.

First episode following end of exams. Unfortunately the notes I wrote are from 3 weeks prior so it's not a fresh subject for me but happy to have spoken about sleep and fasting particularly.
