I’ve been locked in this month. 10 mins drilling, breaking down what makes tracks actually work, 6 freestyle songs deep. The levels are genuinely higher and I can feel it. I talk about how the mixtape is coming along and how we’ve found a way to get music directly to the people who care — over 100 sign-ups and counting. I also share some exciting album updates. On the team side I’ve brought Ore on as Creative Director and we’re now looking at funding, figuring out how to release this thing properly, and prepping for tour.

I spent the last two weeks in Nigeria reconnecting with myself while my laptop broke and forced me out of my usual routine. In that space, I found a new level of creativity, wrote more than I expected, and leaned into the uncertainty that comes with evolving as an artist.
